Time to get off my butt and write

Hey everybody!
Its been awhile life has been a little crazy the last 2 weeks. I am going back to school In the spring so there has been all sorts of stuff to do Apply as  a student, study for my placement tests, take the placement tests apply for financial aid, meet with a councilor.
Woo it has just been crazy!
Things are going good though, I even got a new computer for school its a Mac Book Pro, Purple of course. And now I am just going through the learning curve of switching from a PC to a MAC.

Anyway Things have been so 50/50 for me with my Habits and Goals I will be posting this next months Habits tomorrow but let me tell you it is hard to change your bad habits!
 I did not walk everyday but I have been rollerblading a lot and have started to notice my legs firming up-huba huba! ;)
Then with the eating healthy thing.... Well lets just say I gave myself one to many free days!
The not chewing my nails, 100% SUCCESS!! I now have long nice nails. Granted I have to keep them polished so I don't pick at them but hey tricks of the trade ya know.

We are still working our way up to running consistently but while I learn to like it, or at least convince myself that I do. I run at least once a week and walk or rollerblade the other days.
Mike even got his own pair of rollerblades to help support me and make it a little more fun- what a doll eh?    XOXO

The Devil has taken a break from his work to personaly follow me around!!!

Hey Everybody!




Well today was my first day jogging (Due to the rain yesterday) and let me tell you running is the most Awful thing when your out of shape and the Best most stress releasing thing when you are in shape.


Today was no exception. As I was running I felt as if I was going to throw up and die-AT THE SAME TIME!


It was a good thing Mike was there or I would have given up, he just kept saying "You can do it! Lets make it to that trash can, okay now that tree". I hated him then ;) but now I am really grateful! I need someone to kick my butt-Thanks Lover sorry about the glares XOXO.


Also as if the first day was not emotional enough as you all know I quit smoking about 4 weeks ago with NO CHEATING!!! Today as I was running and already hating life someone drove by and threw a still burning cigarette a few feet in front of me Oh boy I could smell it!


Mike laughed at me as I used the more hateful vocabulary that I have acquired over the years, and continued to wheeze and run.


But I made it and all is fine! :)


After I was feeling so FIRED UP-(as by brother-in-law Troy would say), that I turned on the Wii Fit which instantly told me it had been 264 days since the last time I had logged on and not only that I missed my goal that I had set up for myself back then, But I had also gained 5 lbs since me last weigh in! -More hateful vocabulary was then directed towards the Guilt striping peace of lifeless technology that I was using.


Perhaps that should be my next goal/ habit to unlearn some of the vocabulary I have picked up over the years.....


So any way once I was done expressing my feelings to my Wii and did 20min Rhythm Boxing to show it who was boss.


Mike so sweetly made me grilled chicken and green beans for dinner which would have been amazing if my Mother-in-laws chocolate chip cookies had not been staring me down the whole time!


No I did not give in, but boy was I grumpy untell the made a swift escape to my bedroom and let me tell you out of sight really REALLY helped.


Well tomorrow is a new day and with you as my support and Mike to kick my butt I know I can do it!!!

Taking it up a Notch

All right well week one went well, Not one day did I cheat on Chewing my nails, I missed 2 days of walking, and I messed up Three days with fast food. DAMN YOU BK!!!! They have those hott taisty fries! However I did better then I thought I would have. Now we are moving forward to Brisk walk Jogging still 2 miles but if we are having a good day and really feeling it then we will go 3. Thanks to my Brother Bup I was talking to him and he was very suportave and gave me some suggestions. He is a runner and he looks great. Like I said it is so motivating to see these people who are doing it and feeling great I WANT THAT!!  This week will be much better as far as food gose I have my  meals planed out for this week. I am setting myself up of sucsess!
Here we go! I feel like eye of the Tyger should be playing as you guys read this, to get you as pumped up as I am! Oh well I can atleast hear it in my head ;) 
Today I had a bad I want to smoke day but I rode it out and did not give it. It was a momentary thing and now I am fine. 4weeks without hooray!

Habits Your going down!!


So far this weekend has been GREAT!!! Mostly chillaxing.
Saturday an old friend that I had not seen in several years came over. Its was great to see her again! She looked AMAZING!! This friend last time I saw her was about a size 16 now she is a very healthy size 6 she looks great but even better she looks like she feels great!
Its always so motivating to see someone loose that much weight and just feel healthy. I was so motivated and Exited by her! I told her I had to ask how she did it because that is alot of weight to loose and keep off. She told me She made new habits and started running.
I sware running is such a miracle you loose so much weight and feel great I look at the people who are runners and see how they look and feel. I hope to someday be like that but one step at a time. Anyway She told me it takes 2-3weeks to start forming a habit and only 3 days to break it!
I started researching Habits and made myself a Little List. In my research one thing that cough my attention was Things You Can Do To Help with your Goals and Habits:
Print or Write up Your goals, post them somewhere you can see them everyday.
So I decided to make my own little Habits forming List:

3 New Habits


Go Walking!!!

Eat Healthy


Stop Chewing my nails

I have a little chart on the one I printed out with the days so I can check off the days, and track my progress. They say you should place your Goals and Habits somewhere you will see them everyday. I hung mine on the mirror in my bathroom where I will see it first thing every day before the start of my day and the last thing I will see at the end of the day so its always on my mind :)

Now that is an Interesting Idea!!!! Good one Steve!

Today at work while performing my behinds the scenes duty's my coworker Steve and I were joking around with how we could make some extra money.
The suggestion was made by Steve to make a Emo book of poetry.
I laughed but then we started talking about it, I could easily write the cheesy sad stuff today's Emo child craves, Steve would be in charge of Marketing research as well as providing guidance to me with my poems (Spelling).
Its a fun idea but with the right steps I really think we could pull it off!
Here is the $100 question would it be marketable enough to have a publisher interested?

What a great place to start! I have ALWAYS wanted to be a writer-In big part due to my love of reading. This would help give me experience, and (maybe if things went according to the dream) get some extra money so I could finally go to school and get started on my English Major!!!!
That would be AMAZING!!!
You never know if you don't try, and with Steve I believe if I was serious he would be as well!
Wish me luck I think I am going to give it a try and see if it is for me.

As far as day to day life is concerned DON'T EVEN ASK ME ABOUT MY DIET AND EXERCISE GOAL!!! (Seriously emotionally out of control)
Still not smoking! -Boo-yeah!!!!

The Myan Stacey's Next Victim!


Today was the birthday party of my nephew Justis.

He choose to have it at the Mayan restraint at Jordan Commons in sandy.

It was a big group because we have a very large family 36 people were there to be exact.

Allot of funny things tend to happen when your out in public with a big family but this one was for sure Blog worthy.

We were there quite some time before we got our food and drinks due to the size of our family, My little sister Stacey was sitting next to me as we got our food Stacey's was one of the first one to come out it was a cheese quesadilla as food was still being passed around she Begin to scarf hers down, Half way through she made a face and said to me "I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla!" I said "Stacey they clearly said that was a cheese Quesadilla" all of a sudden she got this oh shit look on her face she looked at me and said "Oh crap I ordered a Chicken enchilada!" She had forgotten what she ordered and gotten some one Else's dinner-and eaten half of it! :)

There was an empty chair in front of her so she tried to subtly scoot the plate of half eaten food over to the spot and pretend it was not her who made the mistake as the waiter called out "Who ordered the Chicken enchilada?" as he brought it over to her he looked at the empty seat with the half eaten Cheese Quesadilla and said "Whats up with this?" Two tall Ice cold Beers in I just started to laugh and tell the Server the whole story. He took the plate of food-With angry eyebrows and set it on the tray. A few moments latter from a next table down we heard

"Where is my Cheese Quesadilla?, I have not gotten my Quesadilla!" The Waitress had no clue because no one had told her and Mr Angry eyebrows had left without the food.

We overheard her tell the person in a confused voice that "It appears that someone has eaten half of it mam, we will have to get you a new one"

By this time I'm laughing so hard I'm tearing up, and Stacey is looking peeved and slightly embarrassed.

"What happened?" I asked her. Defensively she spouts "I was Starving and we waited SO LONG! When the food got here I was pumped and forgot what I ordered. Everything just sounded good!"

After telling the whole family I thought it was my responsibility to tell all my friends through this blog ;)

Poor Mayan! Who is going to cover the cost of that half eaten Cheese Quesadilla? WHO?

Makes ya Wounder dosn't it?...

The last few days of my quiting has been slow but steady improvement, As far as smoking, No Problem! However the Healthy eating has been crazy hard.
Whats up with that?!
I was (up tell the day I quit) smoking a pack a day. Here is a Not so fun Fact: Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 different chemicals. At least 50 are known carcinogens (cause cancer in humans) and many are poisonous. Not to mention Highly addictive! However fast food has been the hardest thing for me to quit. Makes ya wounder doesn't it?... What exactly are they putting in our food these days?
As for me I am taking it one step at a time, the big first steps I have decided to take is to cut out fast food for the most part.
Step two cut out Soda for the most part and replace it with a 100 oz of water a day.
I am a Diet coke lover so this has been hard for me, my body still craves the carbonation over water.
This brings us to physical exercise... Yeah so I'm just going to be honest not once have I pulled my butt out of the house to go at least walk!
I know it takes time to make healthy habits but this one has been hard for me its like once I get home I crash hard core.
I know alot of it is a mental thing but that's the hard part is changing my mental state from being, well the way I have been living life the last 3 years to being more active and healthy.

Here comes the weekend yay! Cant wait to sleep in But this weekend my biggest goal is to get out there and get active.

Time to fire up the Wii Fit!!! :)
