So day one of my diet....Or not!
I learned an Important lesson that I should know by now, You have to plan out your day to have any hope of sticking to your diet -DUH!
I started out the day late for work no time for breakfast and no time to pack a lunch, In my hurry to get out I grabbed 2 Uncrustable's from the fridge.
An Uncrustable for those of you who don't know is a pre-made peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich without a crust. I used to do Weight Watchers and here is a not so fun fact, one small Uncrustables sandwich is about half you daily points right there, and you have to eat at least two to feel full!
When I got to work I still hadn't eaten breakfast, there on the table was doughnuts! Before I could even stop and think "Wait I'm on a diet" I had eaten one.
Later that day a Lunch time a sugar craving hit and once again due to my not being prepared with some healthy snacks I gave in and got a Snickers Bar. -It was delicious! :(
Once at home I was fine away from temptation of junk food, but another temptation hit...The temptation of my comfortable bed.
Once again I gave in Opting for a nap over physical exercise.
Before writing in today's blog I reflected on the cause of my failure today- other then sheer will power that is.
It was obvious that what I needed to do was have a schedule, and a plan in place to help avoid temptation and lunch time desperation.
I think I will start out with a high protein diet, also In the mail today I got my Acai Berry diet.
It has received good reviews on Oprah, and Rachael Ray also lost quite a bit a weight on it.
Another thing I have been thinking about is this Diet exercise routine called P90 its way intense but has amazing results.
If at first you don't succeed try, try again!
Tomorrow is a new day and with a plan in place I'm positive it will be a more successful day!
XOXO
